Is Room TBA an official BulSU site?
No. Room TBA is a student-run community tool under bulsutools. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Bulacan State University. For enrollment, grades, or official announcements, use university channels.
Where do the 3D models come from?
Building shapes are not imported CAD files or photogrammetry scans. The app builds a simple 3D view by extruding an OpenStreetMap (OSM) building footprint for that place.
-
Floor count comes from OSM tags such as
building:levelsorheight, or from a small default estimate when those tags are missing. - Room dots on the model are placement markers aligned to the footprint. They are not official floor plans.
- Ground texture uses OSM-based map tiles. Map and building data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- If OSM has no footprint for a building, the 3D view explains that the building may not be mapped yet.
Where does class and room schedule data come from?
This BulSU fork does not import registrar class schedules yet. The seed file lists colleges; building and place pins are added in the map editor. Class search and room timetables stay empty until a BulSU schedule importer exists. Upstream Room TBA uses UPLB AMIS/CRS; those scripts do not apply here.
Why is my building missing or in the wrong place?
Common reasons:
- The pin is approximate seed data and has not been dragged to the real spot yet.
- The building has not been added to the seed or map database.
- Campus 2 annex buildings may still be incomplete.

How do I report wrong data?
Open a GitHub issue with the building name and what is wrong: Report wrong data. You can also ask via the community link. Editors with a password can drag pins in map edit mode.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, within limits. Room TBA is a PWA: after you visit online, campus data can stay cached in your browser (PGlite). Map tiles work offline if you already loaded them. A first visit with no signal will not have a full cache yet.
